The problem with diets is that while you may lose weight while on them you're not learning the behaviors and tools to keep making the choices that will keep you at a healthy weight with good energy levels.
Darren's blog post was to encourage people to quit dieting, a concept I totally agree with. Taking it a step I would even encourage people to forget about weight loss. When I say that I mean don't make weight loss your main focus. Weight loss and weight gain is generally a side effect of choices we make. Choices like what we put in our mouths. Choices like whether or not we are active.
